Consolidation cell are used together with front loading oedometer apparatus or Automatic Computerized oedometer for determining the rate and the magnitude of consolidation.

It can be used also for swelling tests and permeability test

Consolidation cells are available with the following nominal dimensions: 50.47mm, 63.50mm, 71.40mm, 75mm, 112.80mm

The cell is constructed of anodized aluminium and come complete with all parts.
