The adjustment of the crystalline lens is made by mechanical stress on
the flexible lens, which is similar to the action of the ciliary
muscles.
This innovative functional eye model is an open design model, offering
high visibility, which does not involve the injection of liquid.
The screen represents the retina that can slide along the optical axis to simulate vision problems (myopia, hyperopia).
It is composed of a flexible lens with an adjustable focal length, which
constitutes the crystalline lens for comprehensive visualisation.
The lens holder is placed in front of the eye to allow a corrective lens to be put in place.
The crystalline lens is equipped with an adjustable focal, without the
need for further injection of a liquid*, which enables the study of
vision problems and their correction. Contents: eye model and a kit of
corrective lenses.
a one-time injection of liquid is required when setting up the apparatus for the first time only.
