Instrumentation and Control - Basic System

The system consists of pumping water into a reservoir, and recycling this water. Using a very quiet pump, water from a reserve is pumped into a reservoir (30 inches) by way of a control valve, which control the level if the system is in a single loop. The output of this reservoir discharges into a reserve and returns to the pump. The system was developed so as to enable students to practice the notions of instrumentation, regulation, control and automation of continuous process. The CL-ED7000 also allows the students to become familiar with real process in permitting them to connect the different components of the system, initiate different calibrations and set up tuning parameters. This system was made to be used as much in the laboratory as in the classroom. Requiring an electrical supply of 120 V ac. Frame in extruded aluminum tubing. Pneumatic tubing and fittings in stainless steel. Being on wheels and not too large (6 feet high by 3 feet wide), it is easily moved around from one place to another and easily stored. Recycling the same water, it does not require access to a drain or water supply in order to work. The system is composed of 2 loops: Flow and Level.
