The Design should allow the student to demonstrate the principle operating characteristics of different types of pumps.
The unit should have manually operated valve and pipe work should be arrange for rapid and safe selection of any one test pump. Measurement sensors are included to monitor the pump speed, power pump head and flowrate.
The unit should volume with 2 centrifugal pumps and a positive displacement pump
The unit should be incorporate with appropriate pipe work and tanks to make the operation self contained
The unit should be self contained constructed on epoxy coated steel frame and platform with lockable wheels.
The control box should be protected against the water splashes
